I keep having dreams that remind me of Las Vegas in the sense that they take place in these grand hotels you never have to leave with tons of elevators. There's amusuments close by and the place is filled with bars and clubs. Not quite the scale of veags, and it's not the desert. Theres a lot of different geography that recurs. One is what I would call the Northest North. Its bitter cpd with tall mountains that are dreadful, beautiful and unbelieveable. Nect is another form of North. Still winter, still higher in altitude, but not the scale of the northest north. Usually a village or town. Its accessable and walkable. There is another home in a more temperate home. This one is more of a hovel, with secret, hidden spots on the grounds disguised by tarps and old structures. A lot of the dreaminf takes place in these weird liminal states; airports, malls, food courts. It;s like I'm between things. There is frequently a lot of water. Roads and bridges that stretch into endless waters, rarely submereged, but close enought to feel the danger. There are a lot of roadways and transportation in cities with levels it feels impossibe to get to. It feels like I'm supposed to be on vacation, but I can never relax or enjoy myself. Im always in motion.
This dream seems to reflect a combination of different elements, each with their own symbolic meaning. The grand hotels and proximity to amusements and entertainment in the dream may indicate a desire for excitement, pleasure, and escape from the routine of everyday life. However, the dream highlights that this environment is not quite like Las Vegas and not in the desert, suggesting a longing for something similar yet different from what is familiar or expected. The recurring geography of the dream, particularly the Northest North, portrays a sense of awe and beauty but also dread. The tall mountains and bitter cold may represent challenging and formidable obstacles or emotional turmoil that you find both terrifying and fascinating. This could suggest a need for self-reflection and exploration of deeper emotions or unresolved issues. The second form of North, with its winter setting and accessible village or town, may symbolize a more approachable and navigable aspect of self-exploration. It could indicate a desire to seek personal growth in a more manageable and supported environment. The hovel and hidden spots in the temperate home symbolize secrecy and protection. It suggests that you may be hiding certain aspects of yourself or keeping certain emotions concealed. The dream may be urging you to explore and reveal these hidden parts, possibly indicating the need for self-acceptance and embracing your authentic self. The dream's recurring liminal states like airports, malls, and food courts signify being in-between or in a state of transition. This could represent a period of uncertainty, indecision, or feeling stuck between different aspects of your life. It may be beneficial to reflect on these transitional moments and consider what changes or choices you may need to make in order to move forward. The presence of water in the dream, particularly the endless waters with roads and bridges, suggests emotional depth and the potential for emotional challenges. The danger you feel could indicate a fear of being overwhelmed by your emotions or uncertain situations. It may be important to pay attention to your emotional well-being and find healthy ways to navigate these potentially overwhelming experiences. The presence of transportation in cities with seemingly impossible levels highlights a sense of constant motion and the inability to fully relax or enjoy yourself. This could reflect a feeling of always being on the move, whether physically or mentally, and the need to find balance and stillness in your life. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of your longing for excitement and escape, a need for self-exploration and personal growth, a desire to reveal hidden aspects of yourself, and a call for finding balance amidst constant motion.
